Many new low carbohydrate diets are not good for people on a vegetarian diet. But anyway, vegetarians can loosing weight by eating all kind of different foods. Many plants can give you different nutritions but you should mix protein, fat and carbohydrates to loose weight effectively.
Your muscles need protein to build muscle mass. Also, proteins will give you longer feeling of satisfaction and energy for work. Some vegetarian diets haven’t proteins at all in plan and that’s why that diets are not good for loosing weight. But, you can have lots of protein without meats, for example in nuts and nut butters and soy products. But eating too much of soy products is not good for you because of thyroid problems. So, please don’t exaggerate. Try some other alternatives for meat, and diary products for your need of proteins. You should mix that food. Also, you need calcium which is excellent to loose weight.
Vegetarian diets have also lot of carbohydrates which will give you energy and are good for exercise. But, some simple carbohydrates which have white flour or sugar inside, can increase your appetite. So, look for carbohydrates in fruits and vegetables.
You’ll need also fat in your diet, which will make you satisfied. Be aware that many diets include low fat, but that is not healthy for you. But, trans fats can be risky for your heart. Anyway, fat can stop your craving for food and include it in your diet.
